John Russell is a San Francisco Bay Area based
Music Composer, Producer, Sound Designer,
and Pro Tools Engineer. Raised as a classical
violinist, freed as a rock drummer, and educated
as a jazz/funk guitarist, JR is currently active in
everything from artist production to scoring,
licensing and multimedia music services.
JR has worked with a wonderful array of musicians, artists, and companies, including Chuck D. (Public Enemy), John Medeski (MMW), Paris (Guerrilla Funk), Derick Hughes (Prince, Tower of Power), Jon Evans (Tori Amos), Dave "Fuze" Fiuczynski, Aaron Renner (Beyonce, Dreamgirls Soundtrack), Scott Amendola, Universal/Fontana, Pandora, Pyramind, SF Film Commission, and many more. |
